A prominent national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of litigation experience to join its Dallas, Texas office. This position offers a significant role in managing labor and employment matters for major employers. The ideal candidate will be trusted with substantial responsibility, including direct interaction with clients, courts, agencies, and opposing counsel. Represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment-related litigation, including:
Discrimination and harassment claims
Wage and hour disputes
Restrictive covenant enforcement
Agency charges and administrative proceedings
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
Take and defend depositions
Argue motions and attend court conferences
Lead mediations and participate in arbitrations and trials
Provide day-to-day legal counsel to clients on labor and employment issues
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation and case strategy
Participate in new business development initiatives as appropriate
4–6 years of experience in civil litigation
Prior employment law experience strongly preferred
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and client counseling
Proven ability to manage multiple active matters and deadlines
Strong organizational and project management skills
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Strong academic credentials preferred
Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to legal excellence
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Self-motivated and proactive in managing responsibilities
Comfortable handling significant responsibility with client-facing roles
