Finance Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in New York City, NY, seeks a Finance Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project finance and M&A experience, with a preference for Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Assist in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on finance matters.
• Participate in negotiations and meetings with clients and opposing counsel.
• Handle regulatory compliance matters related to finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance law.
• Experience in both project finance and mergers and acquisitions.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of finance law principles and regulations.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
