A prestigious law firm in Hendersonville, TN, seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. The role is ideal for a proactive attorney with substantial experience in commercial insurance coverage disputes and a strong background in complex commercial litigation.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitration.
• Oversee and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring efficient handling of each case.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on high-stakes litigation matters.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, judges, opposing counsel, and other parties involved.
• Participate actively in case strategy discussions and planning sessions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation and complex commercial litigation.
• Extensive experience in handling insurance coverage matters involving commercial general liability, pollution liability, marine, D&O, professional liability, and E&O insurance.
• Strong background in reviewing insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations, and issuing a reservation of rights letters.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively regarding coverage issues and litigation positions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a solid academic record.

Certifications

• Active membership and good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
