A well-established law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a highly experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its sophisticated tax and estate planning group. This role requires advanced knowledge in trust administration, high-value estate structuring, and the preparation of complex estate planning documents. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with affluent individuals and families on legacy, tax, and wealth preservation matters.

Duties:

• Handle trust administration for large, multi-generational estates

• Design and implement customized estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients

• Draft comprehensive estate planning instruments, including revocable and irrevocable trusts

• Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer techniques

• Coordinate with fiduciaries, financial advisors, and tax professionals

• Stay current on relevant state and federal laws impacting estate planning and taxation

• Provide legal oversight on trust funding and post-death administration

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of focused experience in trust and estate planning and administration

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-value estate plans independently

• Strong drafting skills with various types of trusts and related legal instruments

• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and communication abilities

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• LL.M. in Taxation preferred
