A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for the Bloomington, MN office.

Job Overview:

• Develop relationships with clients to understand their legal needs.
• Provide counsel and represent clients in court and negotiations.
• Conduct research, prepare legal documents, and ensure cost-effective legal solutions.
• Assign tasks to legal assistants, providing guidance and feedback.

Duties:

• Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and concerns.
• Explain legal options and potential outcomes to clients.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients.
• Develop arguments and represent clients in various proceedings.
• Prepare legal documents such as easements and covenants.
• Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours.
• Stay informed about current legislation.
• Find ethical solutions to legal matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to provide optimal service.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the state of Minnesota.
• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in property insurance law is beneficial.
