Duties:

• Advise on municipal and tax-exempt bond transactions involving infrastructure and capital development

• Assist with financing for nonprofit healthcare, education, housing, and cultural institutions

• Participate in projects for energy, water, waste, and tribal financing initiatives

• Conduct legal research and assist in audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews

• Contribute to complex financial restructurings, securitizations, and secondary market offerings

• Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams on transactional and compliance-related matters

• Draft, review, and revise financial and legal documentation

• Support client relationships through responsive and practical legal guidance

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of transactional experience, ideally in public finance or related financial legal services

• Demonstrated interest in complex financing arrangements and governmental law

• Strong organizational habits with a high level of detail orientation

• Admission to practice in California or eligibility to transfer credentials

• Willingness to work a flexible or reduced schedule in a non-partnership-track capacity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic record preferred

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar (California preferred)

• Eligible to practice law in California or willing to seek admission

Skills:
