This position is ideal for a recent bar admittee or an attorney with up to one year of experience who is eager to develop their litigation skills in a supportive and collegial environment. The role involves hands-on training, client interaction, and exposure to a sophisticated and collaborative legal practice.

Location

• San Diego, CA 92108

• Full-time, in-office position

• Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Diego area prior to starting

Duties

• Assist in managing civil litigation defense cases

• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions

• Support senior attorneys in discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

• Attend court hearings and case management conferences as needed

• Maintain organized case files and communicate regularly with clients and internal teams

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategies and meet case deadlines

Requirements

• 0–1 year of experience in a legal setting (civil litigation preferred)

• Motivated to build a successful litigation practice and grow professionally

• Comfortable working in an in-office environment

• Strong work ethic, sense of humor, and a positive team-oriented attitude

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California (required)
