Associate – General Liability

The candidate will file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action. Extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs. Regularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations and in depositions. Drafting and responding to discovery requests. Expert witness retention and collaboration. Trial preparation and attendance. Some travel may be required. A J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school is required. Should have 2-5 years’ experience in general liability/ insurance coverage, experience in other practice areas a plus. Experience with trucking, bodily injury and property damage cases is a plus.

Should be admitted to practice in the states of Oregon and Washington, other states. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are needed. Solid research abilities and written and oral communication skills are required. Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environment is needed. Excellent client skills and telephone manner is needed.
