Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm in New York City is seeking a diligent and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist senior attorneys in various legal matters, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide sound legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and client needs
• Prepare for and attend legal proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials
• Provide legal counsel to clients under the supervision of senior associates
• Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable settlements or agreements
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records and case files

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services to clients
