Job Overview
A prestigious U.S.-based law firm is seeking an experienced Trademark Associate to join its nationally recognized Trademark & Copyright team. This position focuses on managing complex domestic and international trademark portfolios, with an emphasis on clearance and prosecution matters. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, and possess at least 3 years of relevant legal experience.

Duties

• Manage trademark clearance and prosecution matters domestically and internationally

• Handle complex trademark portfolios for high-profile clients

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic IP advice

• Collaborate with internal legal teams and external clients

• Advise entertainment and media clients on trademark protection strategies (preferred)

• Navigate and manage a high-volume docket with precision and accountability

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in trademark clearance and prosecution

• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex U.S. and global trademark portfolios

• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a high-paced environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing

Skills

• Proficiency in U.S. and international trademark law

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Bilingual legal communication (English/Spanish)

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Strong client relationship management

• Familiarity with legal practice in entertainment sectors (preferred)
