Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Transactional Associate for its Charlotte, NC office. The role involves representing capital providers in debt and equity investment activities, including lending transactions and private equity investments. The associate will work across the capital structure, representing both equity and debt investors, as well as portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Duties

• Represent lenders in lending transactions.
• Advise alternative investment vehicles in debt and equity investments.
• Assist private equity fund investors in control and growth equity investments.
• Work with portfolio companies on acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Requirements

• Three to six years of transactional experience preferred.
• Experience in finance or corporate transactions is ideal.
• Excellent academic performance required.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary.

Education

• Law degree required.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
