A law firm seeks an Advertising Attorney to join its team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will support a dynamic practice representing major national and international brands across a broad range of advertising, marketing, and promotional matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on advertising and marketing law, including claim substantiation and consumer protection.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Handle sweepstakes, promotions, and influencer marketing matters.
• Review advertising and marketing materials for legal compliance.
• Support clients in investigations and enforcement matters by regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in advertising and marketing law.
• Experience with FTC, FDA, and state attorney general proceedings is a plus.
• Background in consumer products, retail, technology, or related industries preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
