Job Overview

A law firm seeks dedicated attorneys to join its civil litigation defense team. This role involves handling various legal matters, including toxic tort product liability, trucking/transportation litigation, and premises liability cases. The firm offers flexible work arrangements, including full-time and part-time remote positions, as well as in-office opportunities.

Duties

• Conduct and defend depositions.

• Draft and respond to written discovery requests.

• Prepare comprehensive client status reports.

• Draft motions, legal briefs, and other court filings.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including remote appearances.

• Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California State Bar.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in civil litigation defense is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school preferred.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
