A Cleveland-based law firm is seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join a growing legal practice focused on representing individuals in injury-related matters. This position involves managing a high-volume caseload across the state, handling all aspects of litigation from case development through resolution. The role requires courtroom presence, strategic negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth investigations to gather and assess damage evidence

• Lead settlement discussions, including negotiation of liens where applicable

• Maintain effective communication with clients, court officials, insurers, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate across internal teams to meet case goals and firm objectives

• Provide oversight and guidance to legal support personnel

• Ensure all duties comply with accessibility and accommodation standards as required

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio

• At least 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff-side or defense personal injury litigation

• Background in insurance defense or previous claims handling is highly advantageous

• Ability to manage a dynamic docket while maintaining attention to detail

• Track record of client-focused legal advocacy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Ohio State Bar admission in good standing

Skills:

• Strong command of legal research and litigation procedure

• Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution capabilities

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is essential

• Experience with legal case management platforms (e.g., Needles) is preferred

• Leadership skills to manage legal assistants and paralegals
