A law firm seeks a highly experienced Construction Litigation Attorney in the East Bay area. This role is open to candidates at the Partner level or as a Senior Associate with a path to partnership, based on experience and client base. The firm is well-regarded for its expertise in construction law, representing a diverse clientele, including developers, contractors, and design professionals.

Duties

• Lead and manage all phases of complex construction litigation, including pre-litigation, discovery, and trial.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on construction-related matters, such as contract disputes and defect claims.
• Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, and deliver oral arguments.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
• Participate in business development to expand the client base.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 7+ years of litigation experience in construction disputes and related areas.
• Proven track record in litigating complex construction disputes.
• Excellent legal writing and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to mentor and supervise associates.
• A portable book of business is a plus.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
