Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance coverage and defense matters, including construction, premises, product liability, and general liability cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide informed legal advice.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation plans.
• Manage all aspects of case preparation and execution, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes as needed.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials to represent clients and advocate their interests.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Handle case files and ensure all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Contribute to the firm's overall success by meeting billable hour targets and participating in firm activities.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar in New York State.
• 3-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and defense work, with a focus on construction, premises, product liability, and general liability cases.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage law and defense strategies.
• Proven experience in handling complex legal cases and managing litigation processes.
