Marketing & Business Development Coordinator Or Manager
The candidate will work closely with external event organizers to strategically plan, implement, and follow up on the firm’s and attorneys’ participation in these events. Serve as the primary contact for audio and visual requests (PowerPoint presentations, brochures, etc.) and additional event requests (firm logos, attorney headshot, CLE, certificates for attendees, etc.). Manage complete and current invite lists, create and send professional error-proof invitations, and manage RSVPs. Provides timely information to attending/participating attorneys/staff on relevant event details and collection of all seminar materials within the deadline. Attend the event to set up, ensure smooth implementation of firm involvement, and facilitate introductions. Maintain files of all key communications and documents. Flexibility to travel and availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary. Provide assistance and track the development of proposals and customized presentations. Retrieve existing information, manage new inputs from multiple attorneys, and present a professional presentation. Maintain firm databases on attorneys and practice groups. Collaborate with firm team members to perform target client and practice area research and analysis to support business development activities. Creatively approach and target business development prospects the firm and members should be concentrating on. Should have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications (preferred) or related field required. Should have 3-5 years minimum experience with professional services and/or business-to-business marketing experience; strong writing, communication, and follow-up skills are essential to succeed in this role; the ability to proofread your own work is imperative; strong MS Office Skills, and web and database skills are essential; ability to work in a team environment, pulling together the resources of the Firm across service lines to support cross-selling. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and prioritize deadlines with shifting priorities. The ability to work independently is essential.
