A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Healthcare Litigation Associate to join its team in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on healthcare-related litigation and regulatory disputes, offering the opportunity to work on substantial and complex cases. Duties:

• Handle healthcare-related litigation and regulatory disputes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and assist in trial preparation.
• Manage and oversee complex litigation matters, particularly those involving healthcare controversies.
• Collaborate with legal teams and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
• Participate in client meetings, regulatory negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Contribute to case strategy development and manage case files through all stages of litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with an emphasis on healthcare litigation or highly regulated fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid advocacy and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior prosecutorial experience or experience in healthcare-related legal matters is a plus.
• Ability to manage substantial client-facing responsibilities and work on complex engagements.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in New York State.

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management.
