Trademark and Copyright Associate Attorney Litigation

Profile

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Trademark and Copyright Associate Attorney (Litigation) with 3+ years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of district court litigation, including discovery, legal research, motion drafting, deposition preparation, and pre-trial preparation. Experience with pre-litigation investigations, settlement negotiations, enforcement, UDRPs, and contested TTAB matters is also desirable.

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of district court litigation related to trademarks and copyrights.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Manage document review and organization.
• Conduct legal research on trademark and copyright law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions.
• Assist in pre-trial preparation and strategy.
• Conduct pre-litigation investigations.
• Negotiate settlements and enforce intellectual property rights.
• Handle contested matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of trademark and copyright litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar preferred.
• Excellent legal writing skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated interest in becoming a top-tier litigator.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Georgia Bar (preferred).

Skills:

• Experience in district court litigation.
