Human Resources Manager
Responsibilities: Serves as a point of contact and provide assistance and support to all levels of personnel. Works directly within and manages the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)/Human Capital Management (HCM) software systems as it relates to payroll functionality. Interviews, trains and supervises hourly personnel and provides feedback on performance management. Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including but not limited to new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to special projects. Adheres to workplace and client specific compliance standards. Achieves position specific performance goals.
