A law firm seeks a Senior Corporate Associate to join its Global Corporate Group in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in investment transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity joint ventures.

Duties

• Represent private equity and family office clients in investment transactions.
• Draft and negotiate complex private equity-backed M&A and related agreements.
• Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Lead deal teams for middle-market transactions.
• Oversee transaction processes from inception to completion.

Requirements

• 6-7 years of relevant experience in investment transactions.
• Experience with private equity and family office clients.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Membership in the Texas Bar or eligibility to become a member.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
