Agreements Officer

The candidate will consort with stakeholder and/or business development input, review, evaluate, negotiate and complete materials transfer agreements, material license agreements, industry sponsored/collaboration research agreements and non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements. Ensure that all obligations within material transfer agreements, material license agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, industry sponsored and collaborative research agreements comply with the firm and TTBD policies and procedures, including but not limited to appropriate guidelines for publication, intellectual property protection, confidentiality and export control where applicable. Ensure that new contract terms do not conflict with existing agreements/arrangements. Support, develop, implement, and maintain procedures related to technology transfer processes, including development of internal forms, checklists and documents as needed. Assist with departmental metrics requests as needed. Educate, or support activities that educate, faculty, research administration and other personnel within the community about Technology Transfer activities and processes. Interface with other academic and industry partners and collaborators to support the mission. Bachelors Degree is essential. Must have 1+ year experience in academic technology transfer OR equivalent industry/research/contracting experience. Understanding of technology transfer processes within a university setting is essential. Should preferably have Masters, PhD, or JD degree. Must have 2+ years of experience in industry or academic contracting OR technology transfer. Should have prior contract/agreement negotiation skills.
