A prestigious law firm is seeking 2-3 motivated Finance Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Structured Finance team in New York. The ideal candidates will have experience in NAV facilities, margin loans, hedge fund financing, leveraged financing, or subscription facilities within a large law firm environment. Successful candidates will have a strong academic background, excellent drafting skills, and a passion for working collaboratively on complex finance transactions.

Duties:

• Assist in structured finance transactions, including NAV facilities, margin loans, hedge fund financing, leveraged financing, and subscription facilities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to finance transactions.
• Collaborate with team members and clients on complex finance matters.
• Provide legal guidance and advice on structured finance issues.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
• Support senior attorneys in client-facing meetings and presentations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in finance law, particularly with structured finance, margin loans, hedge fund financing, or related transactions.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in New York.

Skills:

• Expertise in structured finance transactions, including NAV facilities and hedge fund financing.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and work collaboratively within a team.
