Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will work on a variety of employment-related legal matters, providing expert advice and representation to employers.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges.
• Advise and counsel employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 3+ years of experience in employment or commercial litigation.
• Employment law background strongly preferred.
• Current KS and MO Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Kansas and Missouri.
