The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of experience in banking law. The Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to banking and financial institutions. The role involves providing legal advice, conducting transactions, and ensuring compliance with banking laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Handle banking law cases, including regulatory compliance, mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions.
• Provide legal counsel to banks, financial institutions, and clients in the banking industry.
• Draft and review banking agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct due diligence on banking transactions and ensure legal compliance.
• Represent clients in negotiations, settlements, and regulatory matters.
• Stay updated on changes in banking laws and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for risk management and compliance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
