Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with 5-6 years of experience to join their expanding team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with senior corporate attorneys on sophisticated business transactions nationwide.

Duties

• Engage in real estate joint ventures and securities offerings related to joint ventures and syndications.
• Draft LLC agreements, LP agreements, and related documentation.
• Participate in fund formation for real estate, venture, and private equity.
• Assist in M&A transactions, including asset and equity purchase transactions.
• Address securities transactional and regulatory matters, including compliance with relevant acts.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• AmLaw 200 firm experience preferred.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills

• Strong work ethic and self-starter.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Extensive client interaction experience preferred.
