Duties

• Defend clients in personal injury and general liability litigation matters
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation memoranda
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy development
• Manage assigned caseloads and meet court-imposed deadlines
• Communicate with clients, insurers, experts, and opposing counsel
• Maintain accurate and organized case documentation

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience in personal injury defense
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and litigation practices
• Experience handling discovery and motion practice
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• High level of attention to detail and analytical ability

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Florida
• Admission to Florida federal courts is preferred but not required
