A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in patent law, be comfortable in court settings, and possess excellent communication skills. They will work collaboratively on strategic case development and client interactions.

Duties

• Participate in patent litigation in U.S. District Court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
• Conduct case analyses and perform factual and legal research.
• Draft pleadings and participate in discovery processes.
• Research and draft motions and claim construction briefs.
• Engage in pre-trial and trial activities.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience.
• Experience with depositions and expert discovery.
• Excellent writing skills.
• ITC experience is a plus.

Education

• Undergraduate or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics.
• High level of academic achievement from a law school institution.
