Job Overview
A law firm seeks a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in St. Louis, MO. This position provides an excellent opportunity for either newly licensed attorneys or those with experience to contribute to a variety of civil litigation and insurance coverage cases. Duties

• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare well-drafted legal documents, including:
  • Memoranda of law
  • Motions to Dismiss
  • Motions for Summary Judgment
  • Appellate Briefs
  • Jury Instructions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies through analysis of legal precedents and factual records.
• Provide insurance coverage analysis by interpreting policy language and assessing coverage under various policies (e.g., CGL, automobile, homeowner’s, umbrella).
• Manage multiple assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is communicated to supervising attorneys.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Missouri and good standing.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Insurance coverage experience is preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the Missouri Bar (required).
