A Los Angeles-based law firm is actively seeking a bilingual Immigration Attorney with a minimum of one year of experience in immigration court proceedings. Duties:

• Appear on behalf of clients in immigration court hearings and USCIS interviews

• Prepare and submit legal documents, including motions, briefs, and evidence packets

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments

• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to strategize and manage caseloads

• Stay informed on evolving immigration laws and procedures

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in immigration court proceedings

• Proficiency in a second language (Spanish highly preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and multitask in a fast-paced setting

• Commitment to serving diverse communities, with sensitivity to cultural and LGBTQ+ issues

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in any U.S. state or territory

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Effective oral advocacy and courtroom presence

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

• Bilingual communication skills (written and spoken)

• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
