Litigation Paralegal
The candidate' must have Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience as an insurance defense or other personal injury litigation (medical malpractice, products, etc.) strongly preferred in a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretarial role. Experience with medical records and expert witnesses also strongly preferred. Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment is a must. Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Must have the ability to establish rapport and interact effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, adjusters, and others. Proven ability to meet deadlines and prepare accurate work with a high degree of attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliability and flexibility are necessary skills, as is a commitment to providing excellent client service. Strong PC skills, especially MS Office Suite. Experience of understanding of timekeeping/billing.
