Duties
- Advise clients on U.S. regulatory requirements for foreign investments.
- Guide foreign investors through the CFIUS review process.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and import regulations.
- Provide expertise on trade preference programs and trade remedies.
- Advise on U.S. Export Administration Regulations and ITAR.
- Communicate with regulators on investigations and settlements.
Requirements
- Experience in international trade law.
- Ability to manage a small book of business.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Skills
- Proficiency in advising on regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with trade litigation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
