Duties:

• Defend clients in Workers' Compensation cases, handling all aspects of the claims process from beginning to resolution.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal arguments.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records.
• Provide guidance and legal counsel to clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar (Required).
• 2-10 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Proven ability to handle a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License (Required).
