Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in civil litigation matters, specifically focusing on the defense of third-party auto cases. The role involves handling all aspects of litigation, including case management, legal research, discovery, and court appearances.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, primarily focusing on third-party auto matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, including trial preparation and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law School.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
• 3-4 years of civil litigation experience, focusing on defending third-party auto cases.
• Knowledge of New Jersey no-fault law and insurance laws.
• Experience in civil discovery litigation procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred:

• Trial experience in civil litigation matters.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery processes and tools.
• Experience with mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law School.
