Duties

• Manage business and tort litigation cases from inception through trial.

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.

• Manage client relationships and provide high-quality legal advice.

• Work closely with a team of legal professionals on various litigation matters.

• Take responsibility for managing projects independently while maintaining collaboration within the team.

Requirements

• Excellent academic credentials.

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience working in a large law firm environment preferred.

• Ability to independently manage litigation projects and client relationships.

• Strong ties to Michigan and the Midwest, with a commitment to the region preferred.

• Clerkship experience is a plus.

• A desire to work in a growing office with opportunities for long-term professional growth.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Michigan State Bar (or ability to become admitted).
