The candidate experience defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the equal employment opportunity commission, the department of labor, and their state law equivalents; extensive experience in counseling employers on various employment-related issues, including leave entitlement, wage and hour issues, hiring, terminations, discipline, handbook policies and procedures, employment agreements, and other matters affecting the employment relationship; experience handling multiple facets of litigation, including responding to complaints, drafting and responding to discovery, e-discovery and the production of documents, preparing dispositive and other motions, and drafting position statements; experience with wage and hour collective actions and class action litigation; experience in taking and defending depositions; superior attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional research and analytical skills, as well as a high level of academic achievement; and admitted to practice law in Florida. AmLaw 100 law firm experience; and ability to generate clients.
