Duties:
Manage and support complex litigation cases, with a focus on the energy and transportation sectors
Take depositions, including expert depositions, and prepare case evaluations
Draft, review, and argue motions in court
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
Collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues to develop strategies and provide legal advice
Demonstrate exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Take initiative in managing client relationships and delegating tasks
Participate in trial preparation, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence are ready for court
Show leadership potential and contribute to team development
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant litigation experience in the energy and/or transportation sectors
Strong ability to handle expert depositions, case evaluations, and motion writing
Ability to think critically and analytically with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Capacity to quickly adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
Demonstrate exceptional client service, interpersonal, and communication skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Texas
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Trial experience, particularly first or second chair, is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
