Legal Practice Assistant/Project Manager
The candidate will run conflict checks, as requested. Prepare engagement letters. Enter attorney time into Intapp Time; review pre-bills and finalize invoices. Open and maintain client files, close files, and update transcript and file databases. Draft closing documents. Prepare, proofread, and revise correspondence and documents. Prepare FedEx mailings (as needed). Enroll attorneys in CLE courses and assist with CLE questions and recording. Coordinate travel arrangements. Process expense reimbursements through Chrome River. Schedule appointments and conference room reservations. Maintain attorney Outlook calendars. Distribute, track, and collect documentation and coordinate closing logistics. Prepare bond transcripts, to include the review and printing of financing documents. High school diploma degree is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred; a paralegal certificate is helpful. Should have 3+ years of law firm experience. Experience in drafting closing and disclosure documents and coordinating closing logistics is preferred.
