A law firm seeks a mid-level litigation associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their litigation, enforcement, and investigations practice group in Seattle, WA. The associate will work on environmental litigation in federal district court and support various regulatory practice groups.

Duties

• Represent clients in environmental litigation in federal district court.
• Support regulatory practice groups in litigation matters.
• Draft legal memoranda, client recommendations, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with experienced litigators on complex legal issues.
• Engage in non-litigation client representation as needed.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience with major litigation matters in federal court.
• Ability to synthesize complex legal and technical issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with environmental statutes and regulations.
• Experience with Indian law is a plus.

Education

• Undergraduate degree in a scientific field is helpful but not required.

Certifications
