Insurance Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an Insurance Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in insurance-related matters. This role requires strong communication, research, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to exceptional client service. Experience in various lines of commercial insurance, such as D&O, E&O, Cyber, EPLI, and R&W, is highly preferred. Regulatory expertise is also welcomed.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in insurance-related matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation proceedings.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting insurance matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 3-6 years of related practice experience, with a focus on insurance coverage.
• Demonstrated expertise in various lines of commercial insurance, including D&O, E&O, Cyber, EPLI, and R&W.
• Strong speaking, writing, research, and organization skills.
• Exceptional internal and external client service skills.

Certifications:

California State Bar membership or eligibility for admission.
