A Personal Injury Attorney is needed to manage a caseload from inception to resolution, providing comprehensive legal services and representing clients effectively in various proceedings. This position involves significant client interaction, legal research, document preparation, and case strategy development.

Location: Miami, FL

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury cases from inception to resolution
• Interact with clients, addressing their questions and providing case updates
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
• Prepare and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
• Manage the discovery process
• Negotiate with opposing parties, insurance companies, and defense attorneys to achieve favorable settlements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials
• Analyze case strengths and weaknesses, identifying potential legal issues
• Conduct case evaluations to assess success likelihood and risks
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for effective case management
• Stay updated on personal injury law through seminars and continuing legal education

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Bar license in the relevant jurisdiction
• Experience in personal injury law preferred

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership
