Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in insurance defense for various office locations across Florida. Location:

• Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies to achieve client goals.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Manage an active caseload, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
• Work closely with clients to provide legal counsel and prepare for hearings, trials, and other legal actions.
• Utilize legal software for case management, timekeeping, and billing processes.

Requirements:

• Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive legal advocacy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality legal work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software.
• Experience in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and litigation strategy planning.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Expertise in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy caseload efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal technology and Microsoft Office applications.
