A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Frisco, Texas. The ideal candidate will join a supportive team dedicated to guiding clients through challenging family law matters with empathy and expertise.

Duties

• Advocate for clients in divorce, child custody, modifications, and enforcements.
• Handle contested hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Prepare persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders.
• Build strong relationships with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Develop case strategies alongside a talented legal team.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of family law experience.
• Confidence in the courtroom, particularly in contested matters.
• Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and manage cases efficiently.
• Empathy and interpersonal skills to support clients during sensitive times.
• Familiarity with Collin, Dallas, and Denton County courts (preferred).
• Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (or awaiting bar results) and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Skills

• Interest in or experience in family law and courtroom litigation.
