Job Overview: A growing, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Divorce/Matrimonial/Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Albany, NY office. Location:

Duties:
Represent clients in divorce, matrimonial, and family law matters, including child custody, support, and alimony.
Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders.
Manage a significant caseload and handle all aspects of family law litigation.
Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of clients.
Collaborate with senior attorneys, associates, and other departments to ensure comprehensive case management.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, including managing expectations and providing updates on case progress.
Mentor and support junior associates in the family law practice area.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in New York.
5+ years of experience in Divorce/Matrimonial/Family Law.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active membership in the New York State Bar.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of family law and matrimonial proceedings.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent client relationship management.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
Proficient in case management software and legal research tools.
