Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in New York City is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sophisticated commercial litigation, with at least 3 years of experience. NY Bar admission is required, along with exceptional academic credentials and outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in all stages of litigation, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Assist in case strategy development and client counseling.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sophisticated commercial litigation.
• Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
