Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its personal injury team, representing clients throughout Georgia. This remote position requires an active Georgia Bar license in good standing and offers the opportunity to manage cases from filing through trial.

Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff for thorough case preparation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar, in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar license.
