Duties

• Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation.
• Draft, review, and modify legal documents including claims, motions, and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership.
• Proficiency in computer use.
• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice.

Education

• Bachelor's degree.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar Association membership.
