Job Overview:
A multi-state law firm specializing in real estate and creditors’ rights is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to support its expanding practice in Arkansas. This role offers the opportunity to work with national financial institutions and handle a high-volume caseload involving mortgage foreclosure, collections, and related litigation. The position is based in Little Rock, with potential for hybrid work and travel to court appearances as needed.

Duties:
Manage a significant volume of foreclosure and collections cases
Represent clients in state court, federal district court, and bankruptcy court
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
Handle discovery, depositions, and conflict resolution matters
Appear at hearings and trials
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry contacts
Support firm initiatives to expand presence in the Arkansas legal market
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections
Strong understanding of Arkansas state legal procedures and court systems
Ability to manage high-volume litigation independently
Familiarity with discovery processes and resolution of procedural disputes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to develop a trusted advisor role with clients and stakeholders
Some after-hours availability may be required
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and good standing member of the Arkansas State Bar (required)
Admission to AR federal district and bankruptcy courts or ability to obtain promptly
Additional state licenses are a plus
Skills:
Strong litigation, organizational, and time management abilities
Experience in appellate work and familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and Bankruptcy Code preferred
Confident courtroom presence and strategic thinking
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
