The candidate will be preparing legal documents and pleadings, such as initial drafts of complaints and inspection demands. Research state and federal law relating to corporate law subjects. Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited school required. State Bar of California Admission (active and in good standing) required. 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred. Knowledge of shareholder rights litigation a plus. Ability to write initial drafts of documents for a range of litigation categories. Familiar with securities, corporate derivative, and class action litigation. Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines. Must be detail oriented. Strong analytical and communication skills essential. Proficient in WestlawNext and the Microsoft Office suite.
