Bankruptcy Paralegal 
San Diego, CA | Full-Time 

About the Role:
We are an established and expanding bankruptcy law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. If you have experience working in a legal setting- or are eager to grow in the field- this is a great opportunity to build skills in one of the most in-demand areas of law. 

What You'll Do: 

• Prepare and draft Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions using BestCase
• Gather and organize client documents such as pay stubs, tax returns and financial disclosures 
• File documents electronically through CM/ECF/BlueStylus 
• Serve pleadings and notices to relevant parties 
• Maintain accurate case files and deadlines 
• Communicate with clients, trustees, and court staff regarding case status and required documents
• Support attorneys with case prep, client follow-up and calendaring 

What We're Looking For: 

• Prior experience in a legal support role (bankruptcy experience is preferred, but not required) 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and e-filing systems (CM/ECF familiarity is a plus) 
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities 
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow through on tasks independently 
• A team-first mindset and willingness to learn
